The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications from individuals interested in beginning a career as an entry-level Deputy Sheriff.
The physical agility portion of the testing process will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Princeton Senior High School Track.
Applicants participating in the physical agility test should bring a physician’s release and photo identification. Candidates who successfully complete the physical portion will proceed to the written examination at 10:30 a.m. at the Princeton Church of God on Oakvale Road in Princeton.
Applications are available through the Mercer County Clerk’s Office and the Law Enforcement Section of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department.
Anyone interested in serving the community through a career in law enforcement is encouraged to apply and participate in the upcoming testing process.
