**Minimum Requirements Include:**
✔️ 18 years of age or older
✔️ High school diploma or GED
✔️ U.S. citizen & valid driver’s license
✔️ Ability to pass written exam, physical agility test, interview, background investigation, medical, psychological, and drug screening
⭐ **Lateral Deputies Welcome!**
Current certified WV Deputy Sheriffs will receive pay-scale credit for completed years of service, as certified by the Deputy Sheriff Retirement System.
