Wednesday, August 20, 2025: Corporal E.P. Parks responded to Fox Ridge Apartments in Princeton to assist their management in evicting a resident after they obtained a lawful court order. The female occupant was uncooperative and was alleged to have firearms. Other Deputies responded to assist with the situation. With the help from Fox Ridge’s management, we were able to safely evacuate the other apartments of building A. After 30 minutes of unsuccessful negotiations, our office made entry into the apartment being led by several members of our SWAT team as well as other Deputies working the shift. We were able to take the occupant – Jessica Nelson, into custody without injuries to anyone. As always, we appreciate the cooperation of the residents evacuating quickly to ensure their safety, as well as others staying back a safe distance. The situation is clear and those who evacuated may now return safely.
